Welcome to #SundaysOnParade!
If you’ve been with us since the beginning, welcome back and if this is your first Parade Trip with us then I hope you have a blast and join us again next week. 😀 If you have memories from seeing any of these parades in person, please feel free to share the memories with us. And as always, if you know someone who would enjoy these posts because they love parades, Disney, time travel or history please share with them.
Last week we partied our way to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom to see Mickey’s All American Birthday Parade. This week we’re chilling out on Main Street at Casey’s Corner to watch the Disney Character hit Parade with our favorite treats from the confectionary. The parade ran from 1989 to 1991.
Over 100 performers depicted 14 moments from Disney films. After the Main Street vehicle carrying the grand marshal family of the day came the Walt Disney World marching band performing an instrumental version of the parade theme. Floats included Chip N’ Dale and Roger Rabbit, The Jungle Book, Winnie the Pooh, Alice in Wonderland, The Country Bears, Peter Pan, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella, Mary Poppins, Pinocchio, and Mickey Mouse and Friends.
