Sundays On Parade

Welcome to #SundaysOnParade!

If you’ve been with us since the beginning, welcome back and if this is your first Parade Trip with us then I hope you have a blast and join us again next week. 😀 If you have memories from seeing any of these parades in person, please feel free to share the memories with us. And as always, if you know someone who would enjoy these posts because they love parades, Disney, time travel or history please share with them.

Last week we traveled to Disneyland to see the Snow White’s 50th Parade. This week we’re hanging out at Disneyland a little longer for the State Fair Parade. The parade ran from 1987 to 1988.

This was the parade held during the Disneyland State Fair, the second of the park wide promotional events, this one held for two years, once in ‘87 and again in ’88. The parade was themed to the traditional small town state fairs of the late 18th early 19th century, with themes such as livestock, produce and blue ribbon winning pies.
